1912
It was 1912 when Luigi Ciocca opened the hosiery factory that bears his name and is now run by the fourth generation of the family. The first important successes, seven years later, led the founder to move the company to Quinzano d'Oglio where an old blanket factory, now abandoned, was for sale. In 1929, at just eighteen years old, his son Giuseppe joined the company. Very young, he began to make his way and acquire the experience and skills that would allow him to take the reins of the family business after his father's premature death. Giuseppe Ciocca found himself in 1935 at the head of the hosiery factory, which he led with ability and determination, even during the difficult years of war and early post-war period. Under his leadership, sock production grew, thanks also to constant technological and stylistic research.
